An adults-only retreat located in the Australian desert, Longitude 131° is comprised of 16 luxury tents and the Dune House; the site’s central hub featuring a reception, lounge, library, bar and restaurant, with an outdoor swimming pool sitting adjacent. Offering stunning views of the Australian outback and Uluru (Ayer’s Rock), a complimentary touring programme affords guests guided access to the rugged and untouched terrains, while Spa Kinara is a welcome haven with beauty and body treatments rooted in indigenous culture.

Food & Drink

A modern Australian menu is served at the Dune House with panoramic views of the red-hued outback. Pairing indigenous and modern flavours, the cuisine, fronted by Chef Jonathan Bryant, showcases the best of seasonal, fresh quality produce. Also housed under Dune House’s canopy is the self-service bar; open all day, it’s adorned with quality wines, beers and spirits.

Rooms

Fifteen of the luxury tents sitting elevated along a secluded dune, are identical in facilities and come well-appointed with an en-suite bathroom, rain-shower, expansive balcony with day bed, and indigenous artworks. The Dune Pavilion is a more expansive offering sleeping up to five guests and features separate living and sleeping areas, custom furnishings, bathroom, and outdoor deck complete with a private plunge pool.

Location

Overlooking Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, Longitude 131° is set on a picturesque site rich in Aboriginal culture. It is a 15-minute drive from Ayers Rock Airport in Yulara, which welcomes daily flights from major Australian cities. Alice Springs, a town and popular base for exploring the area, is approximately five hours by car.
