At the Hotel

The first London-based hotel for hospitality collective Experimental Group—the same team of visionaries that brought us Experimental Cocktail Club, Beef Club, and other successful outposts across London, New York, Paris and Ibiza—opened its doors in the summer of 2017. Occupying two Victorian townhouses at London’s West End, the history of Henrietta Hotel dates back to 1634 and was once the former residence of painter Samuel Scott and actress Kitty Clive. As it stands today, the refurbished hotel houses 18 uniquely designed rooms and acclaimed destination restaurant Henrietta.

Food & Drink

With Michelin-starred chef Ollie Dabbour at the helm, the two-tiered Henrietta restaurant is quickly proving itself a revered locale for Londoners and travellers alike. Open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the restaurant’s interior is contemporary with a touch of quirkiness. Paying homage to the former garden of Covent Garden, the glass-roof and oak panelled space with laidback furnishings is a welcoming atmosphere for enjoying a menu of ingredient-led, seasonal dishes with a subtle nod to French fare. Cocktail specialists Jared Brown and Anistatia Miller are behind the restaurant’s bar, adding their formidable flair to an expertly curated drinks menu that reflects the journey of the location’s storied past.

Rooms

Designed by Dorothée Meilichzon, M&O Paris designer of the year 2015, no two of the 18 rooms at Henrietta Hotel are the same. Effortlessly blending textures and patterns, guestrooms are an eclectic mix of marble, fabric panels, quirky carpets and contemporary furnishings. Most notable in all rooms is the hand-built headboards that were inspired by Italian doorframes and Henrietta Street’s traditional buildings. Catering to the modern traveller, each spacious room comes well-appointed with a flat screen TV, WiFi, a mini bar stocked with signature house made cocktails, and a sumptuous claw-foot bathtub; larger rooms feature sitting areas. Room service is available.

Location

Located at the heart of Covent Garden on Henrietta Street, this boutique hotel is within 1-hour driving distance of London’s International Heathrow and Gatwick airports. A stylish area revered for its trendy boutiques and world-class drinking and dining destinations assures the ultimate stay in England’s capital.
