Food at Dolphin Island is best described as Fijian-fusion – a unique blend of traditional Fijian flavours combined with elements of Indo-Fijian cuisine creates a fabulous array of taste sensations. Spices, chillies, coconut, seafood, fresh fish, limes, indigenous vegetables and exotic tropical fruits all feature on the menu.
Dolphin Island Guest Bure Suites feature heart timber floors, plaster walls, stone tiles, wooden shutters, and high ceilings; the dressing rooms are large and generous, further complemented by well-appointed bathrooms, and outdoor shower set within a private garden courtyard. The thatched, open-air Hilltop Sleep-Out Bure is both rustic and refined – perfect for a romantic overnight stay. It faces the sea and is flooded by the first rays of sun come daybreak; lighting comes by way of lanterns and candles.
Dolphin Island is located 20 minutes by boat from the tip of Viti Levu island. Guests can fly to Nadi International Airport and travel 2.5 hours by private car, with the island’s private boat transferring guests to their accommodation. Float plane and helicopter options are also available.
