At the Hotel
The first Vietnam resort for luxury hotel group, Aman Resorts International, Amanoi boasts a privileged and secluded position at Vietnam’s southern coast. With striking views of the sea and coastline, and 29,000 hectares of National Park on its doorstep, the setting is nothing short of paradise. Dotted along a coastal ridge, the resort’s guest rooms, residences and pavilions blend traditional Vietnamese style with contemporary architecture. The lakeside Spa pavilion comes complete with a steam room, state-of-the-art gym, cold plunge pool, private spa suites, Jacuzzi, and menu packed with rejuvenating treatments rooted in local rituals. There a two swimming pools, a beach club, boutique with artisan goods, and central pavilion which houses a restaurant and bar.
Food & Drink
The hotel’s restaurant serves up traditional Vietnamese, a cuisine characterised by fresh ingredients, vegetables and herbs. Fish, which is delivered daily by local fishermen, features prominently on the menu, as do herbs and vegetables which are grown onsite at the organic garden. The restaurant’s setting is an open-air terrace with striking sea vistas. The Beach Club, which is a 10-minute buggy from the central pavilion, serves lighter fare in a more convivial setting. Private dinners for small and large groups can be arranged, as can one-on-one cooking classes with Amanoi’s chefs.
Rooms
The accommodation at Amanoi comprises 36 standalone hillside or lakeside rooms, including 31 pavilions and villas, and five Aman Residences. They embody Aman’s signature Japanese-inspired design blended with Vietnamese accents. There are a selection of categories to choose from, varying slightly in size and amenities. The smaller feature combined living and bedroom areas and spacious bathrooms with private decks; the large have private swimming pools, and some, their own private spa. The Residences are comprised of 4-5 freestanding bedroom pavilions, a separate living and dining pavilion and private swimming pool.
Location
Set in a quiet corner of a country teeming with natural beauty, diversity and culture, Amanoi’s remote setting reaps the benefits of seclusion, while still being within easy reach (two-hour drive) of the bustling coastal city of Nha Thrang. Cam Ranh Airport, which services Nha Trang, is just over an hours’ drive from the resort, and welcomes regular flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
