Surrounded by emerald green rice paddies, verdant forest and unspoilt private beach, Amankila’s striking design, shape and materials mimics that of nearby floating palace, Ujung. The hotel features 34 elevated guestrooms dotted around the hotel’s three-tiered swimming pool, and a Beach Club with its own pool and bar. Guests can explore further afield by way of cycling, diving, trekking, and market tours, before enjoying world-class spa treatments either from the private of their suite, at the beach, or in the nature-surrounded open-air canopies. Children are welcome and complimentary babysitting is available, plus there are customised kid-friendly activities available on request.
Food & Drink
Amankila’s open-view restaurant maintains a farm-to-table philosophy, offering revitalising European-Indian cuisine made with locally sourced ingredients. Meals can be enjoyed both at the sole restaurant or in private at exclusive locations around the property; a lighter food and drinks menu is also available to enjoy poolside at the Beach Club.
Rooms
Inspired by traditional Balinese beach houses, the 34 freestanding, ocean-view, thatched-roof, bougainvillea-covered suites feature royal doorways, canopied beds, rattan furnishings, and marble bathrooms. Some of the larger suites have two bedrooms, separate living areas, a private butler service, and outdoor terraces complete with private pool and sun loungers.

This off-the-grid location remains within easy reach of Denpasar Airport which is approximately one hour by car. The bustling area of Seminyak, which is teeming with foodie spots and boutiques, can be reached in 90 minutes by car. The local area has temples, quaint villages, and palaces waiting to be explored.
