Location
The resort offers ample adventures in the surrounding nature reserve, including hiking, canyoning and waterfall rappelling. Nearby Samaná is renowed for the Humpback whales who migrate to the bay to between January and March. To the west, the town of Cabarete is one of the world’s best locations for wind surfing and kiteboarding. Joining Amanera on the north coast are the two small villages of Río San Juan and Cabrera.
